Factory Pictures

Here are a few pictures from both days I went to the plant.... My convertible (before paint) is behind the Shelby that I have a great photo of - I could not get close enough when the line was moving...
And I have some photos of it in the special vehicle prep room after being completed.

And a few more

Just a few more of my pony surrounded by the others at the plant in the special vehicle prep room - Pays to know somebody and get the extra special treatment - THe hold tag on the windshield is supposedly the fact it was ran as a show car for me.

That's cool.
And since it's the same as my car, I have the photo experience of the build.
Thanks, by the way how do your side scoops fit?

Fit just fine

I have to say that my hood scoop and my side scoops fit just fine... I recently had the side scoops and the rear bumper cover replaced because the paint was off a shade - if you look closely at my pictures at MIS you can notice the rear bumper is a lot more yellow so I contacted the plant and they took care of it for me immediately right in their facility - I guess working for Ford I get some extra special attention but they have gone out of their way to make sure i am a happy customer... I also have all of the data sheets in PDF format from the plant - shows all of the buyoffs etc that are required and my car only stopped in (2) repair bays during its entire journey down the line - once for a missing fastener on the front strut and once for an issue with the radio not checking out correctly... So far, 9000 miles later no issues to speak of other than the driving lights had to be replaced - the lens on both of them began looking like a piece of crumbled up wax paper (on the inside) - so my local dealer ordered them and I replaced them myself...

Good for you!
I hope I get the correct color this round on my drivers side-scoop.

Gotta have the cloth top, especially since it wasn't an option last year...

I almost ordered the cloth top for the 100 bucks - It was an option when I ordered my 2007 but nobody at any of the local dealers had one in their inventory... I did see one after I got my car and you are right, I am sorta kicking myself now because it does look really rich......
