GT500 Parts List

 

any guess on what total price for parts and install

 

There's a vendor who sells the whole GT500 body kit for something like $2100, does anyone here remeber who that is or have a link? It caught my attention because it included the rear fascia as well....

I paid $1,300 for parts, but that is not an indicator of what YOU will pay. Painting the fascia was an additional $300. The list I provided in the link above is comprehensive, and covers everything you need. However, you can skimp on some fasteners, and a couple other things to cut the price a bit.

At the time of my purchase, the dealer did not include every single item on that list.

Installation does not require any special knowledge or tools. There are plenty of do-it-yourself articles on how to perform the front fascia swap.

I've provided the parts list, so all you need to do is call a local Ford dealer or two, and get an estimate. Ford dealerships can set their own prices, so no two dealerships will be the same. They wont charge you for shipping either, which is going to be a big expense if you order it elsewhere.

There was a time when you had to purchase the front fascia kit from a vendor, but now that the parts list is available, that's just not the case.

 

Get with 05stangkc and look at his threads. He sells the kits on here. Also look for threads by me, William, and several others who have done this. I think 2L8IWON did an entire write up on his conversion.

 

You can also talk with your local body shop about getting the parts as that's how I got mine.
