I was slightly disappointed that the plate is actually a little colored (the bands behind the logos are red white and blue) rather than purely chrome, but whatever.

Looks nice, but I am not sure why you would want to put a frame on that says mustang. Everyone already knows that is what the car is.

Great comment...I was going to go with Ford, but everyone knows that it is a Ford. Gosh, I just feel really stupid.

So based upon your comment I have decided that I am going to try to avoid the obvious silly things like “Ford†and “Mustang†when I get my license plate frames.

I was thinking to myself, I am an uncle, but everyone knows this, so I am going with "Happiness is being a grandpa" just to stir it up a little-people will be shocked that such a young guy is a grandpa.

Actually, forget that last one. I am going with a Toyota Camry license plate holder. This is really going to take the cake. People will be like, "wha..?" and do a double take when I drive by while I leave them in the dust.

Nope, forget that...I have a better idea. I am skipping the license plate holder altogether and going with a baby on board hanging sign. I don't have kids, but this is really going to be unique in a Mustang. People will smile thinking about how I am a proud dad-fools they are!

Ok that was really dumb. This is THE idea. I get a license plate holder that says, "Mr. Softee". I will blast an MP3 of the Mr. Softee music, and when the kids come running, I will hit the gas and yell out the window, "stinkers!"

I just love overanalyzing the simple things in life like license plate frames.

How about those frames made out of chain links?

Or worse, the ones made of black plastic with little flames on them.

Just make sure your frame doesn't cover any part of your plate that is required by law. Such as the month it expires or year. This is extremely common in Missouri. 90% of the frames cover both and give the police the excuse to pull you over.
