Looks great with the yellow bulbs! Here's my black stallion with the covers installed:

It's official, it's impossible to take a good photo of a black car in strong sunlight.

I think they look good too and that they'd look great on a black Stang.....I'd like to see the smoked covers installed on a black one as well.....that might look pretty good too.

Anyone out there with a black GT have the smoked? If so please post a pic - with them on....tia

oops....just as I was posting - I got what I was asking for

I think that looks great with the black and still would like to see the smoked covers on the black!

The yellow covers look good during the day don't they. They also give a yellow color to the fog lights at night. since I just installed the bulbs today, I just went outside to check them out in the dark, totally hot. I mean they look great both with the head lights and without. They give great contrast, you can definetly tell they are fog lights, no mistake now.

i don't wanna hate on you all, but i don't really like the yellow look of the light...if it just looked normal and shined yellow at night, I would probably like it better....personally, i would do xenon bulbs

I like it for two reasons: 1. It makes the fogs look smaller than they actually are and 2. It makes my black GT stand out from the other 4 black GTs running around town.

Don't be hating! :nono:

Zach, with the bulbs I installed they shin very yellow at night. Like Dav said they make the fogs look a little smaller and they have a very cool apperance during the day. Everyone will not like them but others find the look appealing.

Anyone have any advice on changing the bulbs, seem hard to get too, I removed radiator cover and still seems very tight to get too. Do you have to come from bottom, any instructions on those that have done it, much appreciation.

What's the actual light dispersion like at night?

Seems like by using a yellow filter on the lense, you're getting less lumens out of it.

Looks great guys, I really like the way it looks on the SY and Black! Nice retro look... it even works for the windveil blue. Though id love to see if they made a baby blue/light blue lense to go on the vindveil blue, IMO that would look awesome and give a great tint to the lights with a speremint bulb.
