Well, I finally pulled the trigger on having ghost flames sprayed. I stopped by the shop for a peek last night. The pictures aren't the best. They were taken from my cell phone. The flames are done.......clearcoat goes on today.......buff it out tomorrow......and by tomorrow night it's all done!

Keep in mind the paint looks dull because there is no clearcoat on it yet!

The flames were done in PPG light blue pearl. Which, coincidentally is the pearl in Vista Blue. I can't wait to see it all done!!!!!!!

I don't understand WHY wouldn't you have a good camera with you! In any case, it looks awesome! Now that you know, next time, take a decent camera!

 

i was thinking of putting ghost flames on my silver GT and seeing yours has me wanting them even more. I wasnt sure of how much it costs for custom painting. How much has that cost with the painting and everything? looks beautiful!

 

I'm getting a few other parts painted as well, but the flames themselves are $1400.00. The dealer wanted $950 just to paint stripes, so i guess it's not bad. The money is secondary. I had a real hard time finding someone that could do it. The guy thats doing my car only does custom painting. You might be able to get it cheaper becaus I didn't price shop. I saw this guys work and knew he was the one.

Wow, kinda makes me want to do that to my Sonic Blue car. Your original paint was vista, correct? What colour are the stripes?

 

yeah...the color is Vista blue.....and the flames are PPG light blue pearl
