First of all, the flames are a done deal as far as going with them or not, so if you'd rather see no flame job on the car, keep that opinion to yourself.
Here's the quandry:
I want something subtle (no white-yellow-orange-red blend) accent, so I've always thought I'd go with ghost flames. While doing research, I ran into another look that is just too cool. With the ghost, the flames would only be visible under certain lighting conditions, looking like the same color (in my case black) with a pearl finish to it in the shape of the flame. With the red (I'm thinking a wine/burgandy, not orange at all), it is certainly more subtle than a traditional flame job, but stands out more than the ghost flames.
It's hard to find good pics of ghost flames, so these harley parts will have to do:
Pic of the red flames is on it's way...

Might also consider black with some pearl added. Makes a nice ghost appearance.

Yeah I'm with cajun boy... those relaly arent ghosted flames. Ghosted flames take some effort to see, and typically dont vary from the color of the car by much at all. White or red on black isnt ghosted.

THAT is ghosted. THe flames are there, but they dont stand out.

Hey, as previously said, those are not ghost flames, but yes, ghost flames are the more preferable choice. Now, I know that this is a neon, but it does represent a half decent job, Nathan
