G2 Kit used to Paint My Calipers
Hey Guys.......Just wanted to share my photos of my freshly painted Calipers. The G2 Kit with Xenon decals is a quick easy mod that I think looks great! Let me know what you think??

Thanks.........Same here, just had to force myself to do it! Post your pics here on this thread when you finish! Did you get any decals? I've got some extras from my set (SVT, Cobra, Pony's)

Looks great. My G2 painting kit arrives this week. I was thinking of other colors, but it's hard not to like red, especially with red leather interior. I might post the picts when finished.

I did my calipers with G2's blue, and I love the look. The paint dries to a hard finish, almost like powdercoat. I have pics, just couldn't resize them last week, as I only had my laptop (and Dell's wonderful idea of adding basic photo software, with no resize function. If I want to resize pics, have to buy the updated version, MMMMM!!)
Needless to say, I am very happy with G2. Hey Joe, if I may ask, do you plan on keeping the G2 sticker? If not, could you mail it to me, if it isn't too much to ask. Mine was all fuzted up in the box, and G2 haven't yet called me back to send me more.

Hey..
Did you take the calipers off to paint them, did you have to bleed the brakes? Also, did you do any prep work? Any further steps? This is something I really want to do..I ordered the G2 kit and the decals, just need time to do it. It looks sweet on your rims, but I'm wondering how it will look with my '05 concept style rims

you don't have to take the calipers off to paint them. With the G2 system, be prepared to paint all four at the same undertaking as the hardner gets unusable in short order. I think the G2 is the best out there and you get caliper cleaner read (contact cleaner) with the kit.

I thought the G2 red was very close to the torch red. Here's a picture:

After painting all 4 callipers with 3 coats of paint, I had some left over, so before it hardened completely, I used the rest of it to paint the door sills.
