I am now conflicted. My new brushed alum fuel door doesn't look right with the rear chrome medallion.
I'm thinking of removing the medallion and replacing with a honeycomb blackout. Two questions; Has anyone else done this? (pic would be nice) and where can I get a full panel? Thanks.

You can get the CDC decklid trim panel, or you can wait for a brushed decklid badge. I have been working with a company to develop them so they have the same finish as the GT500's badge.

The CDC panel seems a bit pricey to me for a piece of plastic, although that was the concept I was thinking of. The brushed medallion might be worth waiting for. Thanks Brad, keep me posted.

Well, Silver Horse Racing is developing the rear medallion in a brushed finish as well. If I was you, I would be patient and wait, but if you want it gone, buy the CDC decklid trim panel (follow the link Brad posted), that should do the trick.

I'm working on it guys!

(Check out the timestamp on this post!!)

It's in line behind our taillight bezels and the new hood.

The bezels are #1 in the billet priority lineup right now, followed by the emblem.

Please have patience, as it's been really busy here, and we're just trying to keep up with all the new orders coming in and the dealers we're lining up to supply our products as we bring more to market.

That, and you know I'm not going to release it until I'm 100% happy with the part. Which means you will be happy with it too.

If I didn't misunderstand, the emblem will look like Street Scene's rear emblem, but with the finish of their gas cap. In any case, worth the wait all the way, I really like the way the gas cap looks.

I'd love to have the GT500 finish on a GT emblem. I'll be looking out for this one.

I'm replacing the fake gas cap with this. I am shaving it smooth on the back, and will place it with two sided tape. Fits the old mustangs and costs $80. I think it will work, will posts pics soon.

Soon. I have promised my supplier silence until it is done and we have sufficient stock to offer it. Trust me I want to tell you ALL about it, and what was involved, but for now... a couple hints....

My "other" car is a 1973 Mach 1

My "other" car has functional ram-air

One of our race car's sponsors is Superchips...

That is all I will say until we have stock!

Oh, and you might want to check in on the Honeycomb thread, I have a new contest for all my customers to participate in!!
