Exclamation

Tres quick hackjobs...
Just to get an idea...
I didn't even round the plate...straight cut/paste

While I'd prefer it not to be there...it doesn't look WAY outta place..and better that than a bracket

here in Germany, they are required, too. Fortunately, ours are wider but not as high as American/Canadian plates. What are the dimensions of these plates above?

My eyes!! Dear God, my eyes!!!!

I'll reiterate...I'm keeping my front one off as long as possible!!!

I believe most North American plates are 12" x 6".

anybody know if it's a law in TX to have the front plate? particularly houston? right now my car has it, but i would love to keep it off of my 'stang. no need to defame it's beatiful curves if not necessary. besides...it looks soooo nice w/o it.

Sadly, yes. Texas requires 2 plates.

See Page 2, top left.

Luckily it doesnt look as bad on the V6.... muhahaha.

I'll have both plates on.... although my brother leaves his front plate in his window. Has never gotten pulled over for it.

Edit: And yes, CA reqs' two plates.

I was wondering about putting it in the window, even though I heard that it was a law that you had to have it under a certain amount of inches off the ground.

I just measured the liscence plate I have on my wall. Ghost TX is right. 12" x 6" (30.5cm x 15.1cm for you fellow metric people out there).

Not Arizona either. In fact, you only get issued 1 plate here, unless you order personalized, then they send you 2.

Koolaid. Try doing some research on your own and not creating a thread for every little question. Please.

Second item down is a petition to eliminate the front plate, therefore, yes, you need two.
