Front license plate mounting

What mods have to be done to mount a front license plate. I have a 2005 Red GT Convertible on order and its coming to Europe for me to drive. Even though I'm US military, I still carry German plates on my cars, front & back. Will need to mount a front plate and don't want to mount it and do bumper damage. Help out there?
