Front fascia ripped off, what can I do here?
Yeah, the GT500 conversion is actually really easy, and yes...it does NOT require a hood change. Most just seem to do it (myself included) figuring that since you need to paint the new front end, why not do a hood at the same time and paint it as well verses maybe doing it later and the paint not matching as well. Numerous car owners have done a swap out without changing the hood. I just posted a few of the black ones I knew of since the OP's car is black.

Personally i am going with the PJ front bumper, If you think about it on black you will not see the splitters

and i think it will go nice with my new hood

Thanks for the input everyone, I've decided to go with the Gt500 conversion and get stripes. I'm considering the rear bumper as well, I have to get it repainted so maybe I should just upgrade now too. Aren't there some side skirts you can get as well for the GT500 thing?

There are carbon fiber ones that go on the KR and the SS, but they are pretty cost prohibitive. As far as the GT500 in general, I'm not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure they use the same standard skirt as the GT does.

Nope, the GT500 uses the same unpainted rocker moldings as the V6

But I just noticed you want to do the GT500 front. Not a big fan

No offense, to each his own....but I think it might likely look BEST on a black mustang. Here is two without a hood change:
Man...I think they look awesome. But you really do need to do what you like the best. Dont let me or anyone else talk you out of what you ultimately decide. If its what you want, you'll never go wronge.

Black is Beautiful
Sorry I'm going to have to disagree on the GT500 front end looks in black opinion.

I do agree the 2007 Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition Bumper Cover looks GREAT in Black! Even if you do still see the splitters...

I went CS because the bodyshop wanted to stay Ford genuine parts only. The PJ is my all time favorite for the 05-09 though.
I am pretty sure I have read that the splitters are solid plastic, extremely easy to cutoff and sand smooth for a bodyshop
Just what I was going to suggest. I really want the CS front end on my Alloy GT. After I got rear ended I had the GT/CS rear put on and I love it.
