Front fascia ripped off, what can I do here?

I let my sister borrow my car and she kindly did some unauthorized remodeling:

Obviously this is a good opportunity to replace it with a nicer front end, but I don't know what I'll need. For instance, if I bought the Cervini C-series front bumper would I need any other parts or would that replace all of my damage?

Well there is really nothing under there except a cover, but i think that is replaced with the C-series bumper. I would check your turn signals and make sure nothing is broken on them. You might have to get new ones if they are, but otherwise everything looks ok to swap to the new bumper.

Thanks! I suppose I'll post it on the Cervini forums and see what they think.

What did she hit if i may ask. To cause that much damage i would check your radiator to make sure it did not cause more damage than just the bumper.

You could also consider the GT/CS front bumper. The details are available in the OEM parts forum.

I wasn't there but she went over an extra tall concrete curb and then panicked and backed up quickly, thereby ripping off what you see. No radiator damage, everything is working it just looks ugly.

You know I tend to agree with you, but I find that most of the more subdued bumpers don't look very good on black mustangs and I think the c-series does. On most other colours I feel the opposite though.

May I suggest the Shelby CS6 front fascia? I think it's darn good looking on black!

If it were my choice, I'd probably get the GT/CS, Roush front or Steeda "Race" front.

GT/CS:

Roush:

Steeda:

If you have to replace the front end anyway....why not go GT500? Personally, I think all mustangs should have had this front end. I believe its way more aggressive than the stock front. It will work with the stock hood too....

even if you choose not to change hoods, its a nice changeout if you ask me....of course there are other things to replace if you go this route, but with your sister paying for the initial damage, that should lower your end quite considerably. It might be worth at least pricing it out so at least your well informed. Kevin has the changeout completely listed somewhere and would know the prices with little to no work since he's helped so many of us do it already. Just a thought.

I'm seriously considering a new hood too, but I just don't think the GT500 front end looks that good on black. I'm considering it though.

You'll get married eventually and realize you'd better let that quit bothering you immediately.

No offense, to each his own....but I think it might likely look BEST on a black mustang. Here is two without a hood change:

Man...I think they look awesome. But you really do need to do what you like the best. Dont let me or anyone else talk you out of what you ultimately decide. If its what you want, you'll never go wronge.

I recently endured some front end damage (cracked facia, dented hood) and have been looking at the gt/cs front myself. I like the roush front but it feels too "long" on this car.

WOW those look great. I did not know you could do a GT500 conversion w/o a hood. Very cool
