Looks very nice! I like your color choice. I got my stripes done too, I posted already. I plan to have them painted in the future because I like the design so much. Have fun with your car, it's a beaut!

I actually just saw your pics in the Gallery before opening this thread. Great combo, and I really like the 2" gap. Not a lot of people are doing it. It looks good.

Looks good. See, I told a lot of people that silver tones look good on sonic blue. Now you want another tip? Remove your windshield washer jets. Get a piece of that vinyl from whomever did your stripes. Lay the vinyl onto one of the jets. Using a hairdryer, heat it up and with a little work of your hands, stretch the vinyl around the jet. Trim the opening and underneath with an exacto blade. Reinstall the jets and now they match the stripes so they don't stick out like a sore thumb.

It goes without saying, nice car!

John,

Do the jets just pop off by prying up on them or is there more to it?

Dan, I like that combination very much. Looks great and it's different.

I did the stipes and color combo obviously for myself. We all know we do our mods to make us happy not others
But it sure does make you feel good when others say it looks great and they like it too

Thanks

Hey "My Blue Heaven" got any better photos of yours? Its hard to see it from the small little avitar photo

Open the hood. Squeeze the 2 clips on each side of the jet and push up. On the top side of the hood, slide the jet towards the windshield and it will come out, now disconnect the hose. Removing the jet and the hose can be difficult but don't give up. Just make sure you pull straight back on the hose. If you wiggle it back and forth to loosen it be gentle, too much pressure may break it.

Check out my gallery and you can see that mine are colour matched to the stripes.

Here's the link to all my pics. I'll be posting more this weekend after I get the new wheels. http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index....opic=12930&hl=

They took my windshield washer jets off to stripe it. I specifically chose a stripe design so those would be less visible. My stripes are black so they kinda disapear.

Christopher, what wheels are you buying?

I'm getting the 17x9 Chrome Bullitts from Mustang Tuning. Should get them today, stock rubber goes on tomorrow and should be rolling on them tomorrow night.
