It took a lot longer than it should but it wasn't the installers fault. I have been out of town alot lately. Any way here she is with the new hood. I think the wait was well worth it. The Roushe ducktail should be in next week and we will start on that little project. I sure hope the Roushe stuff fits better than the RK Sport did.

I like the hood a-lot, too bad they don't refine their products better before they put them out for the consumer. Your car look great!

The hood looks great!! If I was guaranteed of a perfect fit without having to have a body shop modify it, I'd consider getting one. The final product looks awesome on these cars.

first off, your car looks mean dude. very nice

second, if the script on that wheel said 'mustang' it would really set the whole thing off.

If I may inquire, are your hood pins functional? and if so, who makes them and where did you get them? One more question if you don't mind, how were they to install? I am considering using functional pins to keep the hood on at "testing" speeds. Thanks.

P.S. The hood looks great on your 'Stang. Nice job.

The pins are fuctional and they are from a 68 mustang. I forget which site I ordered them from though. I think I ordered them back in December! The install was not hard at all. I just picked a spot on the Radiator support to drill the holes and put some putty on top of the pins and gently shut the hood to mark the spot to drill. They were a perfect length. I did put button head stainless steel bolts in instead of the rivits though. Made the install look a lot cleaner than the rivits holding the plates on.

Awesome!!! I love the hood. Can you give us the details of the hood? I would love something like that on my hood.

Very nice Ron. I like the look overall with the dark wheels on a silver car. Hood looks like it fits well.

The hood fits well now.. It didn't come like that though. I had to have a hot rodder fix the hood so that it fit right. It took 12 hours of work to get the hood looking as good as it does. It fits like it was made for the car now. He did a first rate job. There is a thread on here somewhere that has all the info on what 2005redgt and I went through in the beginning.

David,
It is a whole new hood not just an add on. It is fully functional.
