Well, I FINALLY got my stripe kit installed. I've had this kit sitting in my bedroom since late April. I couldn't find anyone local, who works with vinyl. Everyone wanted to Paint my Stang, for $2000-$2400!Can't afford that right now, just for paint. So, I had this kit, custom made and now I got it installed last Friday! I know, some will like it and some won't. Hey, that's ok, because we are all different. Let me know what ya'll think (good or bad)! As you can see, I do like to be different!

That's almost perfect.....if only the Big Black stripe were red and the
red was black.....then for good measure make the in-between white
and then your vanity plate: 1OHIOST
You'd be set and the envy of all Buckeye fans!! It almost looks
like an Ohio State Helmet theme.

did the installer have any trouble with the center of the hood putting the stripe on? I am having mine redone and they say it is a pain with the angles and they are now putting it on wet. :bang:

I like everything about it but the 3rd brakelight emblem.

very nice! Original look...kinda like color choices used in the seventies and eighties with the king cobras!

I'd imagine the hood was a PITA, having done MANY a vinyl install. With the ridge in the hood and the arch forward, there are a lot of compound angles just forcing the vinyl to crease. Share the info on the installer, he's/she's good at their craft.

Yeah, the Trick is, start in the middle and work towards the windshield 1st. Then, have them remove
the backing & the top layer of covering, and have one person hold the corners and hold taught while
the other guy slowly works towards the front. They'll needed to Slightly stretch-it while working
forward. My guy was able to install it, with no wrinkles or bubbles. He did install it wet!

Yes, you ALL are right. The installer & I both, right after the job was done said, the chrome 3rd brake light, just dosen't look right. So, just before I left, he took a 'scratching' of the light and overlay. He's going to make me another one, exactly the same, but use the same Red vinyl as my side stripes! So, from about 10 feet away, it should look just like a regular 3rd brake light. But, when I step on the brake, the Mustang should Pop through.
Thanks everyone for the nice complements. I'm glad other Mustang owners don't think it's too much! I've already had someone tell me it looks like a pace car?
