finally bit the buller on the CDC chin spoiler
finally bit the buller on the CDC chin spoiler
(i just realized i spelt bullet wrong in my post........too excited to spell check)
i started watching bullrun 2007 on streetfire and seeing team shelby finally pushed me over the edge. ive been thinking about it for MONTHS and after seeing all their modded mustangs i finally ordered the classic cdc chin spoiler from atlantaauto.com. prepainted it came out to $400 with free ground shipping. after going around body shops getting quoted waaaay over $200 just for paint, altantaauto's prepainted ones were the best deal. ive also heard good things about them on TMS and other forums so i figured they were pretty legit.
this will most likely be my one and only body mod. im trying to keep it low key and spend most my cash on performance mods but the chin spoiler was too hard to pass up. from all the pictures i see, ford really should have had it come stock with it.
now im just waiting for a few TMS members to get back to me on some used SLP LM's
and that should be it for the summer mods (i say that now......im sure ill splurge soon enough ahahaha). ill probably end up buying them new from brenspeed, id just rather not pay that much for pipes but if push comes to shove ill go for the new ones. ive been getting too used to the flowmasters that i have and i need to go louder.

Hey bud, congrats! Its a great mod and looks KILLER, but be careful when you park your car in lots. I always back the car up now, to avoid the chance of hitting the concrete parking blocks or curbs.
And here is a tip for you. If you plan on entering a car show and its a long way away, USE BLUE PAINTERS TAPE to cover the spoiler!! I've used this since I added the CDC Chin, and its cheap insurance against stone chips while traveling the highway. What I did now, is I had someone install a 3M clear vinyl bra. Works great and no chips now!!!
Can't wait to see some pics.

first thing im going to do is get someone to install that clear bra. my front bumper does have some nicks in it from driving on the highway and i wouldnt want the chin spoiler suffer the same fate. how much did it run you to get the clear bra install on it?
