Is there a template that comes with the rear decklid mustang letter to get them properly spaced and squared?

One of the guys who goes to car shows with Maverick, and myself, he has the M U S T A N G letters on his trunklid. For spacing, he actually measured the spacing width of the letters from a 1968 Fastback Mustang a friend of his has. The ones on his trunklid are exactly as they were back then. Looks real good.

That does look good. Great work! You sure will see MUSTANG on the deck lid on more cars.

I've purchased the M U S T A N G stick-on letters from Laurel Mountain and Mustang Unlimited. Both were made by KSR. I discovered that the tape did not work very well and the "letters" pulled away very easily. I just ordered a set from Mustang Parts House, and confirmed that they were made by Scott Drake with 3M tape, that are suppose to be better. I'll keep you posted on its quality.

I put the Scott Drake Stick on letters on My 06. So far they have stayed on pretty good. It has been through the car wash several times with no issues. Here is a couple of pics. Sorry about the quality it was dark out. They have a 3" gap in between.

I think that I'm going a little wider. Looks good though . Are the letters attached solidly? I was actually able to twist the KRS letter as the tape was kinda spungy. I am in hopes that the Drakes are 3M with the firm backing. Thanks

They will move a little bit. I really think you want them to move some that way if you hit them like with a towel or something they will give a little instead of possibly being yanked off.

Nice job, Endemo!

Personally, I went with a closer spacing on the trunk letters.
Nice idea on the fender letters too, that's really unique!

Nice! As for the "Ford", I also saw a guy that had a LL mustang and put the word "LEGEND" on each side. I couldn't find a pic but it turned out pretty cool. Here's a link to get custom letters done if anyone is looking for some other way to personalize their cars.

Just installed mine... FYI, Go with the Scott Drake's lettering- Much, MUCH better looking emblem w/3M tape. I original purchased the KRS brand and the quality was no where near as good as Drakes. There are only a couple manufacturers of this type of emblem sold by countless vendors. Whatever vendor you choose, make sure it's a Drake and NOT KSR. They are the same price, actually I paid less for the Drakes at the Mustang Parts House. FYI- I purchased the KSRs at Mustang Unlimited. I've already twicked the "N". I was kinda slanted. I purposely ached the letters up slighty from the "T" to give in a straighter line of sight.
