Fading Rocker Stripes
Ok, so I've sent the sign shop a couple of files of what I'm looking for, and they should be getting back to me in a day or so to see if they can make the stripes for me. It's funny. I found them on the internet and sent them a quote request. They emailed me back and I come to learn that they're about 10 minutes from me! No shipping if they can do it, so that's nice. If they cannot, I'll check with a few more sign shops around here. If all else fails, I can email the people at Auto Trim Design, but to offer the stripes to you for under $100, I'd have to just sell them my design. Anyway, I thought I'd make my own post instead of bogarting Taco Bill's. Here's a couple of the images I sent to the sign company.

I got an email back from the place. I've sent them a few more examples. She said they should have a quote for me tomorrow.
Here's one I'm thinking about for our car, though with ours, I'll actually have to have them make a paint mask so I can have it done with paint to match the top stripes.

Very clean looking! Nice looking text font too.
For me, guess there shouldn't be an issue getting close to gloss white.

At least our Rally/Racing/Le mans stripes are different sizes (my skinny white Roush stripes are en-route).

Thanks guys. I should have my quote tonight. What designs would you like to see? Oh yeah, the font is the Nokia font used for the MUSTANG script. Got it right here from TMS in the download section

No problem on the legwork. I'll just be glad to see a design of mine on someone's car. I designed a center cap but never heard back from the guy or saw a picture of the completed product.
Mike, click on the links in my signature. There's pictures on both of those sites.

Blue will probably not be possible, with a fade. I will talk with the sign people, but the fade can probably not be achieved with any color other than black and white, which is why Ford did not offer it in other colors. If not, would you guys that are interested in colors be interested in normal stripes, too? I've kind of looked around at what's out there, and I don't like any of it. The fonts are cheesy, the pony's are tacky. Most of them just aren't being done right.

I never really looked into getting rocker panel stripes, but these fading stripes look really good on MG. I wouldnt mind some fading black stripes , I just dont know what to put down for text.

Matte black will definitely be an option, no matter who I end up using.
And Green Cobra, you're saying maybe a fading stripe with no pin stripes. Just essentially one fat stripe?
Here's the Steeda-type stripe I think you're talking about
Some Mustang letters
