People cant drive for shlt. In today's world you always have to the defensive driver. In addition, red psychologically causes various reactions in people. It's alarming, commanding, distracting, and also a warning. (i.e. civilized man and nature.)

Sounds silly but you really might freak someone out with red tips. If a man can chase a UFO for nearly 125 miles in his truck only to discover that it was dirt spot on his windshield, then assuming his car is rapidly breaking or stranded in the road ahead seems feasible.
