Thanks for the post, John!! I know one of the next things I will be doing before the snow melts here!!

Do you know roughly how much the front end lowered? After installing my splitter, I am about a little over 4" from the ground....so am I looking at about 3" after the springs??

Thanks again!

Mike
Well it is anywhere from 1 1/8- 1 1/4 in the rear and a little over 1" in the front so, ya, your front will be about 3" off the ground. I have a very steep driveway but I don't rub at all, then again never added a splitter. Hey, I thought you were getting the Street Scene kit, what happened?

I had ordered the SS kit in January, but after 3 weeks I got tired of waiting so I cancelled the order. In the mean time, I came up with the idea to go with a couple different manufactures and to "mix & match" body parts to achieve a different look than everyone else, and so far it is working very well.

Here is what I am doing: SS Louvers (done) Steeda splitter (done) SS rear valance (being painted).....still pondering over side skirts (I kinda like the Razzi) and which hood to go with.

Any thoughts or feedback appreciated..

Mike

Since I don't like the tips on my magnapak mufflers I think I may get the SS rear valance installed as it would hit the poor tip design.

Do the springs help eliminate the nose dive at all? I don't know if it's normal for a V8 car, since I've never owned one prior but the nose tends to dip a bit on braking.

Looks nice, not too low but just right. Thanks for the write up.

EXCELLANT writeup John!....... That's my project for next week. I'm going to let my local garage remove/replace the springs from the struts after I take them off though.

I put my TT II's on the car yesterday. Spring fever I guess. I will take pics today to show just how insane they look with the 285's on the rear.

Frank, I didn't change the shocks, but I started another post about how the car cannot be properly aligned now without installing camber plates.
