This is one of my favorite exterior mods to date, because it is so well integrated that one might think it was original equipment. I think a little moderation is a good thing when it comes to modifications to the "05 Mustang. I guess if the owner likes their mods that's the thing that really matters, but jeez...IMHO a lot of it looks like slapped-on junk that adds nothing to the car underneath. It's the same thing the ricers do to their cars. :R:

Ok... now here's a question that may or may not even be relevant. Has anybody had trouble getting the little plastic fastener in the truck to stay on and hold the trunk liner protecting the tail lights? The plastic nut on the passenger side of my trunk does NOT want to stay in place. It grabs the screw coming out of the body but then, a little while later, pops off again. I'm certain it wasn't over-torqued and I'm starting to wonder if I simply need to take it to the dealer and get another. In any case its really starting to torque me!!

Funny you should say that. I have the same exact problem. On the passanger side only. And it was before I did the mod.

We put ours on this weekend and they look great! Super easy install and I like the rate of flashing. I was worried because of some of the posts saying they were too fast. So far, everyone who has seen them the car loves them. Great customer service, fast shipping and a quality product!

Thank you for the quick response. I just got off work and thought I would post this and check it out when I get up this afternoon. I can't wait to get this on my car. When I was a kid I always liked the stang and cougar with the sequential lights.

I was thinking about getting this taillight mod, but read some posts about legality of sequential lights. I tried to search the web and forums without luck on what states it may be illegal in, anyone have a link or know about illinois?

How can it possibly not be legal. They have made factory cars with this type light for years. Put them on and don't worry about it. If the cops stop you and tell you that they are not legal, ask them for a copy of the law....that is just silly. Put them on and enjoy.

Did you ever figure out what happened to the fasteners? I had the exact same problem on both sides. Let me know if you figured it out. Thanks.
