Adrenalin,

Although I disagree with you on some issues I respect your opinion. I wanted a very tall ducktail. Do you think that Cervinis ducktail is too tall with the stock hood (and an agressive CDC chin spoiler)?

What about with the original RKSport hood?
What??? You disagree with me on some issues? The nerve

I'm with ya Boomer, as far as being picky about what you what your ducktail to do.

Here is my wish list:

- not just covers, but USES original spoiler holes to mount
- One piece design that "hangs" closely over the rear quarter panels
- integrates with/uses 3rd brake light
- color matched

This list looks to be met by the Shelby spoiler/ducktail.

Guess I gotta wait and see.....

Since when do you drive around with the trunk up??

So its the lack of coolness when you're loading groceries that you're REALLY worried about eh?

Just bustin' 'em pete

Ok SO...I had an idea this weekend, wondered how it would look.

If you look at the Saleen SN95 spoiler/tail, while I don't like the look of it, as its about as big as a picnic table on the decklid....it does have 3 pieces like most of the ducktails for our cars.

Now...
It also fills the stock spoiler holes.
What if the StreetScene or CDC had what it has...I don't know how it would look.
Basically if you've ever seen one, its got a 2" wide part that sticks out very flat to the stock holes, and I'm sure is bolted into that.

I'll try to find a pic

How about this? Find someone with a windveil blue mustang without a spoiler that is willing to swap.

This is the perfect place to reach a large audience. Find a "Windveil blue registry, or "calling all windveil blue owners" thread and ask there.

I took my spoiler off my 96GT and used plastic hole fillers. I painted them the same color as my car, but needed to put more coats on because it has since come off.

Mark, the only problem is, I'd have to find someone in the states....becomes a pain. (Canadian 05s do NOT come WITHOUT spoiler)
The 06 GTs will be able to come without a spoiler....V6s do not have that luxury.

As for the Saleen picnic table...thats not the one I'm talking about
Check out the 99-04s with the LARGER spoiler (theres 2) its HUGE.
Picture it like the 05 Roush spoiler...only larger.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahhaaa I have found one....well we saw it before, but its confirmed to cover the stock holes.

Cervinis
05-06
Mustang Ducktail Wing
part # 2227.......................$275
The Ducktail wing has a 3 piece design that utilizes the factory brake light
and will cover the existing holes in the trunk from the factory wing.

Now...I know its a bit high, but it might look good.
ANNNNND...that also means its possible to have one without being too high.
Yo mike make it happen

Pete, Maybe you've already made up your mind but, have you considered doing what acadian did? Have the holes welded closed. See this thread.

This would enable you to get whatever ducktail you liked the best (not limit your options)
