Well the Konig Beyond has finally hit the street. I'd like to pickup a set of 18s but I'm having a problem deciding tire size. Should I got with 255/45/18 or 275/40/18? I'm thinking about going 18x9.5 all the way around. I might do 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the back.

So what do you all think? What tire size should I go with and should I stagger the wheels and lose the front to back rotation? My car is a daily driver which I'm sure can factor into the decision. Thanks in advance for everyones help!

Not bad looking rims, too bad they are Konig. I have heard a lot of bad things about their rims. Anyway, I went wider in the back. Not too worried about tire rotation since these will only be used for 8 months a year. If I get 2 years out of my tires I will be happy.

I saw the tire sizes in your sig. Should I go with a tire that big in the rear or should I do something a little smaller?

I had Konig Troubles on my Accord and they did not live up to the name. I never had a bit of "trouble" with them.

That size tire looks like it's going to put me a little over 1 mph off my speed. 58.8 at 60 on the speedo. Is this acceptable?

I don't think that is much to worry about. If your that worried about it though a good tuner will take care of it, and give a good performance boost.

The one thing I really don't like about the wheels is the center cap. Does anyone know if these can be replaced with mustang ponys?

"Not bad looking rims, too bad they are Konig. I have heard a lot of bad things about their rims."

What bad things are being referred to here? I haven't seen any bad reviews on the internet or other sites.

Ok, so it looks like I'm going 18x9.5 with 275/40-18 all around. Does anyone know if they are going to rub in the front at all? I know people get 18x9 to work fine with a 255/45-18 but with the extra 1/2 inch and tire I'm worried.

Another thought was that if I got 18x8.5 in the front with 255/45/18 and 18x9.5 in the back with 275/40/18. What tires front or back will determine the speedo reading. Would that even look good? I'm having a hard time picturing things.
