I am waiting on it to be available to order it!
Me too, $300 ready to spend the day it's released. Does anyone know where there's additional pics of it from different angles? I'd especially like to see it looking down the side of the car from the front.

I would like to see a duck tail about the width of the cobra spoiler. I don't like way it wraps around the side. I can't put my finger on it!!

I guess the roundness shape of the rear the bothers me. A shorter duck tail would break it up more. Now try to imagine the rear of a 05 with a duck tail the same width of the 04 cobra. What ya think!!!

That site for the Xenon duck tail says it will cover the factory holes, it dosn't say anything about using the same holes though. I'm wondering if you would have to drill additional holes.

"Per Xenon this spoiler will cover the factory spoiler holes in the vehicle."

Just a guess, but I bet the side pieces attach with double sided tape and the center section fits in the rear holes and has double sided tape to attache the front and cover up the holes.

I have been working on an all aluminum Duck tail for my 05. I have a lot of sheetmetal and welding equipment. I plan on welding in studs for the front two holes and using bolts on the rear two. The spoiler will wrap over the sides a little, but will not actually be attached to the anything but the trunk lid...

I plan to use a 1/16" rubber ( actually a poly product ) gasket under the spoiler to protect the finnish and to provide clearance for the sections that wrap over the side sections...

I like this design because it is a one piece spoiler. You do not hat to worry about aligment problems.

I am also a little leary of how long paint will last without cracking on a Urethane spoiler....

I'll post a few pics as things progress....

U can get the CDC one now- I think they must be slow at updating their site. I was at cal-mustang.com, and they had 'em in stock. I emailed them to be sure, and they replied that they did have it. haven't ordered one yet (no $), but if the guy who replied was right, I will be soon.

sranger - I look forward to seeing some pics of your custom tail. Sounds to me like you have a great idea. Let us know how it turns out.
