DIY: Radiator Topper

I never liked the channel in the top of the radiator showing, but never saw any aftermarket parts (except for the BangaStang coverBangaStang cover). So I've been thinking about what to do for a while. I finally settled on a piece of aluminum that would just slip down over the sides and sit in place.

I finally got some time to devote to this, and I think it turned out rather well, at least for me. Here's a little writeup: 2005-2009 Mustang Radiator Topper.pdf

And picture of it installed:

Looks interesting. Do you have any pictures of the topper from behind looking forward?

Your instructions put many big name manufactures to shame! Well done!

It's actually the Ford Racing CAI (M-9603-S463), but they are the same... I just didn't put Ford Racing the sticker on it.

The tube is the Anderson Power Pipe (AF-0122C), I don't see it on their website anymore...

Would you consider making some for others? I have no experience with bending aluminum.

I'd like to, but I don't have the time, and I don't own the means or production (the brake used to bend the aluminum)
