Custom Pony Emblems

Here is the first pic of the pony emblems I'm having made. The company sent me these pics just after they came out of the mold. They will be cleaned up and chrome plated. The GT will most likely have a black inlay (I haven't decided yet)

These are going to be my left and right fender emblems and will cover the guide holes in the quarter panels. I'll post more as they progress.

Interesting. They appear to be quite large. I'll withhold judgment until after the install, but good on ya' for doing something custom.

What is the name of the company you are working with? Do they have a web site?

The ruler isn't in inches. It is in cm I think. The ponies are about a half inch longer than the tribar running ponys on the V6 emblems. That pic is a little distorted. They aren't that large. The website is www.think3d.biz. They are in Canada.

Looks good! Are they making them one off just for you or is this company going to start production on this emblem?

Right now these are one of a kind custom emblems. If I want to keep it that way, think3d charges $200. They waive that $200 fee if I give him permission to sell them to anyone. I'm not that particular about them being one of a kind so I probably won't pay the $200 fee. Bottom line is these will be available to anyone. The downside is these emblems are going to cost $100-$120 per pair.

By the way if anyone is interested you might give Thomas the owner a call. His number is on his website www.think3d.biz.
He is expecting a C&D letter from Ford any day now telling him to stop making the ponies, so he isn't sure how much longer he will legally be able to produce them........Just and FYI.

You know I'll be there.

And David, keep me posted on cruises in OKC as well. If it's going to be a decent size event I might make the drive up. My parents live up that way so.
