I have seen all the pictures from the show cars out there but while I was out yesterday I saw an 05 painted Orange. I'll be carrying my camera next time I'm out just in case, so, no "worthless without pics" post please.
I read previously that someone had done their 05 in pink, scary thought.

You'll be painting it aftermarket. They are not going to stop a complete run just to paint a car a different colour.

You misspelled color.

that's a scary thought. Does anyone remeber the bright red from the 94-96 mustang?? I was going to get my stang in redfire because I almost bought a very bright red one in 94, but the redfire on the new stang was not even close to as bright?? (just a thought).

I remember the entire thread that went on for like 5 pages dicussing the differences in American and Canadian words. It ended up being moderately interesting.

It's just not cost effective for the factory to do it. Used to be doable back in the 60's, but to have it done today would not only double the price of the car, but you'd have to be someone VERY special to get it done. i.e. The President of the United States, a HUGE celebrity, or someone VERY high up at Ford. Jay Leno could probably have one done.

That reminds me, has anyone successfully special ordered a color on their 05 Mustang? Is it even possible? How does it work, does it have to be an existing Ford color? What does it cost? Just curious.
I believe some fleet orders can be made with special colors....at least I know I have ordered special colors in the past that way.

I dont know why on earth someone would want an orange mustang. The only comp orange stang that looked good was the mach because the black set it off. I still think the big miss by Ford was to not offer it in dark stone.
