Custom Emblems??

Does anyone know, or has anyone ever heard of anywhere that will help you make up your own emblem? I have a cool idea for an emblem, but lack the software and manufacturing machines...just a little hurtle... So I was just curious if anyone has ever heard of anything like this and if so, what the price range for something the size of our fender emblems or something that would fit on an SHR medallion would be.

Thomas there has made several custom emblems for me, and does top notch work. I'll post up my latest emblem once I get my car back.

I have a tattoo of a Griffin done in a heraldry style standing with it's claws extended one way and it's wings the other. I just thought it would be cool to put something like that on a rear medallion as sort of a personalized touch or something. Maybe with the griffin one color and a border around it.

Justin,

We're settling into the new facility, but what do you have in mind? Did we talk about it? (My memory is a bit of a mush pile at the moment) - maybe we can do the engraving for you if it's not stepping on any trademarks and you've got a graphics file to work from.

We have a new engraver on order, 20k RPM spindle, should be here next week to replace the old workhorse that took a beating on the PJ run...

Marcello,

No don't worry, I didn't talk to you about this, so you aren't forgetting anything. It's just something I was kicking around in my head. I think it's something that would look good on one of your medallions, because lets face it, your medallions look good anyway... I was thinking of something raised from the surface, so an actual emblem would seem to be the trick rather than an engraving. Although if it were cut into the surface that could look pretty cool. Can I post up a graphic and you pm me a ball park if I wanted to go ahead with it (assuming it's not too complicated...)?

However I doubt seriously that it's copyrighted since it's a drawing of a 15th century heraldic Griffin that I further altered. I've never seen anything close to it as a logo of anyone's or character, symbol or other protected property. I'll post up a pic of it if anyone wants to see.

Here's the picture I was thinking would be a cool emblem, but it's a little complicated from a graphical standpoint.

Not a horsey, but cool nonetheless.
