Custom Agent 47 mirrors and fuel door added

Here's a few quick snaps. It was dark by the time I finished the mirrors, so the good pics will have to wait. Agent 47 mirrors were painted by SHR, and the fuel door is from SHR also. Fuel door quality and paint quality is first class, as to be expected from SHR. First pic is with new fuel door, before adding the mirrors. Sorry for the picture quality. I know it's not up to my usual standards.

The way that your mirrors are painted they seem to float. Looks great!

Thanks. This is exactly how I pictured these mirrors the minute I first saw them. I don't like them all black, but I don't think they look quite right all painted, either. I can't wait to get some good pics, because I know they'll look fantastic with a picture of the whole car.

Do you lose functionality of moving them around like the stock ones? Or does it wire in exactly the same way?

u use the stock wiring harness and the install is real simple. if you search for "Agent 47 mirrors" you should be able to find my post on a writeup of the install I did way back when, I think I need to reload my pics though.

btw....the mirrors look great Darkfire! congrats!

how much visibility did you lose with the new mirrors? Since they are a bit smaller than the stock.

Thanks everyone! I can wait to get some good pictures to really show how great they look. I haven't gotten to drive it since installing them last night, so I really can't say how visibility is. My daily driver is a '95 Contour, which has tiny mirrors, so I probably won't notice a difference.

I called Marcello and got these custom done for me. It's not something they normally do.

Maybe this is something that changed for newer models with the different wiring harness, but the only way to get the wiring harness out was to dremel out the two rivets that held the motor mount in. I also confirmed this with someone with a 2006. There was nothing about that in the directions. Otherwise, the install went as planned.

I saw those before they were on your car lol. He showed me them when I was there a couple weeks ago. Looks great. I'm still not set on them for my car yet. I'm going almost the same route with the door. Since the chrome door I have now doesn't match w/ my wheels. I'm going polished black ring w/ polished GT center

I think polished outside with satin inside would match your wheels very nicely.

Sah-weet!!

I knew when we were done painting those that they were going to look nice, now that they are on the car I'm sure of it!

I hate to offer this up because I know it will get your wheels turning, but maybe a polished ring on the fuel door might go better with the wheels than the bright satin one we did there - but of course the bright satin blends into the car nicer, so it's hard to say. Still - we need some real pictures here !!!

Everyone else - just for the record we can do the painting you see there - it's an additional 125.00 to do the second color, as it's pretty labor intensive for the painter to prep, paint, mask, repaint, and get it right, but it can be done. It is a special order (like the fuel door as well) but something we're always willing to look at doing for customers that ask. That said, having patience helps - custom parts do not happen overnight.

I think polished was actually what I wanted. I'll go out and take some good pictures and we'll see how it looks. I hate to have to change it out again on ya lol. But, you did initiate it

I haven't had many people like the mirrors on a different board. Hopefully some better pics with the whole car will change some minds. I dun care, though. I like 'em. The two tone will look even better once I get my red leather in.

You can't please everyone - I think they look great like that.

We just dropped off a set going HP white to a customer, I think they are going to do it the same way.

those look good. They're not my favorite, but those look great with the end painted.

+ whatever on the two-tone paint job! I think that looks better on vivid colors like red or grabber orange. It's a minor gripe but it's a shame Ford didn't mount the mirror posts on the top of the door skin like on the first generation Mustang. The Agent 47's look a bit odd to me projecting out of the A-pillar. Your paint job solves that for me.
