Was it really that easy? Release the white pressure clips, swing it out, replace? Anything else have to be removed?

What's the answer on legality of these things for street use (as long as you have amber bulbs)?

VERY EASY!! Taking the wheel well covers off was the hardest part, only 'cause I have ape hands. Just turn the wheels out, unscrew bottom bolts and clips around well. Done.....

Legal?? Blinks amber, parking lights amber, only diff - clear lenses. As Johnny Cochran might say, "If it blinks amber, then you must ..........(oh nothing rhymes with amber)

Wow, i really like this mod. As opposed to having to read through the whole post and find them, does anyone have direct links to the stealth bulbs that i need. I want to make sure i am getting the right ones. Thanks a ton!

Moss Motors has them, but you have go in through the F-150 truck site.

They work, trust me, and the ad pic shows a Mustang:

Paste this:

PS - Yes they come as "PAIRS"

Why are there Two different bulbs??????

and the ones on Moss look like the 3157 bulbs....but what about the 194 bulbs?

oh and BTW....

I HATE YOU ALL. I click on this thread and it costs me $60 for lenses. Ebay and paypal are dangerous....about 5 clicks and I spent $60.

that's all it takes! I just installed mine last night (in the dark), took me about 40 minutes, but it's an awesome looking mod!
There are two bulbs in each lense, so you need to replace the two bulbs (which I haven't, and the "white" bulb has a pale white/yellowish tint to it that I kinda like).

When you buy the clear lenses (like the eBay ones), they come with 2 x Amber 3157's and 2 x Amber 194's.

But as you can see in the comparisons below, the stealths look better IMHO.

Both bulbs come on when the parking lights are turned on, but only the 3157's blink when the turn signal or flashers are used. The 194's (and the positioning thereof) are more for marker/side lights.

In the pics below, I'm running both stealth bulbs (Red)
Lane is running just stealth 194's and still waiting on the stealth 3157's to arrive in the mail.

Hope this "Clears" things up

No . . . for the $30 you only get the 2 x Stealth 3157's. I found the 194's (chromed) in a German Auto parts store later.

Not as much, but there is a difinite "orange looking dot" on the lens, with the amber 194's.

Sorry to be lazy, but do you have a link for a store to get the 194s at then too?

So all i need is the 4 bulbs (s different sets), and the clear light kit itself. I will be ordering these tonight. Thanks!

I don't have a link to the 194's, best bet is to hit one of the stores and look for them.

I have a question for those who already have these, or I guess for anyone who knows, what is the extra small opening for at the bottom inner corner of the lenses (on the back there is a small black rubber tubing)?
