Wait no longer......what a breeze of an install. All I did was remove the wheel well covers inside the wheels. They are held on by 3 screws and 5 plastic screw caps (like on the radiator cover). The amber lenses are only held on by 2 little white clips on the near side, and just a slit on the far side. Unscrew the bulbs, then pull out lenses, replace bulbs, replace lenses, replace cover. DONE, took me about 1 hr, I've got big hands and getting up under the wheels was a pain.

I would definately recommend the stealth bulbs, you can't even see them when not on. They lite pretty nicely (maybe brighter that stock). VERY happy with this small mod, makes a BIIIIGGGGG difference.........

Nice. I agree that the amber lens look out of place. What was the total $$ on this? Thanks

$65 for lenses, and $60 for stealth bulbs. The lenses do come with amber bulbs, but they looked like egg yolks.

Lenses seem like a good buy, but $60 for bulbs?!?!? I understand that it completes the look, but couldn't you buy yellow ones and spray paint (just one coat to hide) them white or silver?

I don't think that works quite the same... I painted by accident my white bulbs in my 89 LX, and they came through as yellow, not white, so I think the color is going to be distorded if the glass is yellow and you paint it white
