Cheap nose job

Last night I decided to play around with some supplies I already had in the garage and change up the look of my front bumper. Credit where credit is due, ZaksGT's car was my primary inspiration for this look.

I plastidipped my pony, and the lower portion of the bumper beneath the grill for a sort of GT/CS look, and then used some taillight tint I had laying around on my turn signals.

Thanks! This is the only picture of the nose that I had in my phone and the lighting is terrible, but you sorta get the idea...

Oh wow - that's awesome. Did you delete the pony or black it out - hard to tell. Either way, what you did really makes the front look more clean & stealthy - I really like it.

Thanks! I just sprayed plastidip over the pony. Yeah, I think it looks really stealthy on silver too.

That looks really good, makes it look alot more like the GT/CS lower.

I went the expensive route of actually putting the GT/CS bumper on a few years ago, and I think had I thought of it this would have worked for me just as well.

Thanks! I'd still really like to upgrade to the GT/CS bumper at some point, but until then for 6 dollars this definitely is the way to go.

IMO, everybody should get a can of plastidip and play around with it. Its all totally reversible if you dont like it.

Some advice though, if you get some overspray that's too thin to peel off, goo gone takes it right off.

Agreed, to me adding black to any color helps the overall appearance. In other words "murder dat hoe"!
