Thanks, that helps me alot. How was the fit, finish and strength of the hood. I didn't see hood pins you don't need them? My fear is busting the hood since I am so used to closing a metal hood.

My friend had this hood installed and a few weeks later, it let go at about 60 MPH. Aside from the hood, it broke the windshield and dented the front of the roof. Luckily there wasn't much traffic at the time.

He's having the same hood put back on, but this time he's going with pins.

Sounds to me like the hood or latch wasn't installed correctly. My hood doesn't even flutter up to 80. Don't know above that because I haven't had it past that since installing.

I can testify that my hood was fine at 100 MPH, no flutters, very stable, and no pins

It looks like there is more room to clear a Saleen S/C than the stock one does.(mine rubs on the stock liner a tad)

06TUNGVERTGT- What did you do about your washer nozzels? it doesn't look like you have them in the hood. Did you use a relocation kit? Mine just shipped out yesterday and i want to get some info about this before it get to the body shop next week.

I am gong to guess you know where the washer nozzles are by now. If not they are hidden at the windshield side of the hood. Does anyone know if there is supposed to be somekind of screen or mesh on the hood openings. The body shop said nothing came with the new hood to cover the holes. If they are wide open I may to check into the ram air kit.

Well I would have know where mine where had I seen my hood. The Body shop called me at work the day it came in and had to refuse delivery. They said the box was all torn up and a chunk of the hood was missing in the front. So now i'm waiting for a backordered hood to come in. Thanks for the info on the washer nozzels though.

Just saw this photo and liked it. Can you tell me what type front bumper cover or the name of that cover is?
Thanks!

That is the California Special front bumper cover. It was also used on the 07-08 Shelby GT. They also have a different rear bumper cover.

Thank you very much Jim. My 2008 Bullitt has a small dent in it and could stand to be refreshed, so I thought I would get something different.
Also going with that same hood while upgrading all the lighting.
Thanks Again!
