Cervini Heat Extractor Hood

Does anyone have this hood? If so I would like to hear some comments about it and maybe some pics. I've added this hood to my future mods list and I would like some feedback before I order it. Thanks

There is another thread on here about it. I've seen two cars on ebay that a guy had done with that hood and the GT500 front fascia and something about the front of the hood just doesn't look right. It looks like the hood was meant to be a GT500 hood and then the front lip was modified to fit the GT. Not sure you might like it, I thought it looked funky.

I've been interested in this hood for a long time...

I think this may be it...one problem...this person put a standard gt front fascia hood on a gt500 fascia...

I wonder how it would look with the normal front end?

The problem I've been having with it is the front lip of the hood. Can you guys see where it doesn't look just right? This may not bother any of you but I didn't like it.

Hmm, I'm not sure what lip thing you're talking about... can you give a better description? I'm looking here: http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c..._1965_15527588

I like this hood alot.. I want to eventually get a CF heat extracting hood, but one that doesn't have "nostrils" on the front.. this is the only one I've seen w/ vents and w/o ram-air-type front-facing nostrils.

What he's saying is that, with the exception of the front edge of the hood, the entire hood has a shape that seems to be designed to go with the GT-500 front end. It appears they took the concept hood and changed the front of it to match up with the GT bumper. I agree. If they're going to make a hood for the GT with heat extractors, they should follow the GT lines.

The one in the cervinis website seems to have a more sharper edge on the cowl, which flows much better with the mustang's lines. For some reason, there are a couple of differences between the pictures i posted and the cervinis website picture. I dont think its the same hood. Either way we need someone to buy that **** hood

I got an idea , you buy and install it, post some pics then I'll decide if I want it

But your right, the hood in the picture on the cervini's site seems to be different then the one posted here.

DarkfireGT nailed what I'm trying to say. May not be the same hood, but I the Cervini's hood doesn't look that much different.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I don't plan on doing anything before the first of the year. I'm also considering the Cervini concept hood. It's just more expensive to make it functionable.

The one on Cervini's website is photoshopped. The posted pictures are real pictures. They are the same hood. The photoshop and lighting are playing tricks on you. What you see in the posted pictures is what you would get.

Before July. They've been selling that since spring.

Shouldn't there be some kind of vent where those holes are?
