I like it. Looks a lot better then the pic I saw with the light being the width of the window. I woulda made it even a little bit smaller. But it looks ok IMO.

I think that anytime we mention the CDC Ducktail, we should also mention that it's cheaper at partshopper.com. I wrote to CDC, explained the situation, and asked if they could take the difference, and discount it from the cost of their 3rd brake light, and they said No! poor customer service

I liked the long brake light better, I'm still trying to find one before the ducktail arrives Fri.

I agree, you might as well put a couple of corks in the holes.

That hole delete kit is hilarious. CDC HAD a great idea with their spoiler. Too bad they're screwing it up. The SS ducktail and even the Xenon spoiler are looking better every day.

Yes, that third brake light pic is photoshopped. This really shows how little they care about their rep. They couldn't even take the time to install the real thing and take anohter pic. Here's the original.

Either that or they parked the car in EXACTLY the same spot with EXACTLY the same lighting from EXACTLY the same angle at EXACTLY the same distance ...........you are correct, they should expend more effort if they expect people to spend their time/money on their products.

I hope some aftermarket companies mock the shelby gt500 spoiler and the way they incorporated the third tail light. I cancelled my pre order on the cdc ducktail when i heard about the third breaklight issue. I love the way it looks from the rear on that black car pic, but i don't like the way it looks in the 'hole delete option pics'..blue car

That one and the Street Scenes spoiler (which has the cut-out for the light) are the closest anyone's come to the GT500/California Special spoiler.

There are plenty of other so-called ducktail spoilers out there, but none of the rest of them have the look you're talking about.
