CDC shaker, air intake, for Non shaker

I bought a CDC shaker set up from the Unique Performance bankrupcy sale. Some parts were missing, some extras.
1 part i have, that i havent seen and i know where it fits.. I think.. but i havent seen this. Has anyone else seen this, got this, use this?
The pictured part fits top on the cdc cover, below the shaker that fits through the hood., but it you use this ,the shaker wouldnt fit? maybe a true hood scoop to feed this? If you know , please let me know. Robert

wierd... how big is it? almost looks like the correct shape to fit into the shaker between the hood. Maybe sending it into the CAI?

Nope, its the exact same size as the shaker base. These parts were sent to Unique Performane[home of the foose stallion] april / 05 dated on the box, with 2 sets of trim rings. im guessing and Colby at CDC, didnt know what they were, this is part of a true Ram Air Scoop system the was being designed by foose or CDC guys.
Just my Imagination, maybe, do i have the parts Definitly!

maybe make a call and see if you can get a pic of a prototype or the real deal it would be sweet if it was! Try to fit it and see what happens!
