Well just saw this on CDC, and hadnt seen it shown around, this looks basically like the fang hood I think. Foose Hood. Thought I would show it if anyone likes it. I think it looks pretty awesome. But got to have the shaker too, so got some saving to do.

 

That picture has been on their site for months, but it didn't have a name associated with it (i.e. foose design mustang hood) and it didn't have prices.

This hood is a different design from the Fang. The spear tip on this one doesn't extend all the way to the front edge of the hood. The Fang one does (see wBlue and silver one below).

The Cervini hood is longer than the factory length, requiring extensions on the headlights to compensate. The foose and fang are the same length as factory and thus don't require any further modifications to the front.

Plus the Foose one is made out of aluminum and uses factory nozzle locations. The cervini and fang hoods are fiber glass. I know the fang one doesn't have nozzles built into the hood and I think the cervini one is the same.

 

Fang must relocate the nozzles and Cervinis also must relocate...I still am deciding if I should go Fang mystery 7 hood or shaker

 

I want the lights! Notice how it doesn't have the cover, it's a sealed lamp instead... I've been wanting something like that for a while

 

I like the Boss 9 type scoop much better. I'd get one if I had a Mustang... Grabber orange GT 5-speed, the old Foose hood?, and 03 M1-style wheels. That'd be cool...

 

Will UP or Foose ever sell the headlights or any body parts...one of the Foose dealers is in my city so i will check if i hear no word here

 

Hey guys, Year One has the Foose hood w/scoop in aluminum for $990.00, they also list some Foose bumperettes, and the scoop alone among their 05-06 Mustang parts.

Ouch!!! that is expensive. $990 for the hood and if you want the shaker, it another $799.

The Fang Hood and shaker kit is only $1275. The Fang shaker is also much easier to install. There is no cutting or piping that needs to be installed if you have an aftermarkcet CAI

 

Plus you've still got to pay for shipping and painting.

I guess the question is whether an Aluminum OE fit and finish hood is worth an extra $351 over a fiber glass one (that looks more agressive than OE)

The Cevini hood and shaker kit is $1199.

 

IMO the aluminum would be worth the extra 300 bucks

now if 3D would only make there boy racer hood and in aluminum i would jump on it
