Does anyone know anything about the rear window louver that will be on the SE Parenlli Jones later this year? Will it be available as an aftermarket part? Thanks.

Hey Dan, I'll give you some help. I'd give Saleen a call in California. You can ask them directly, and they should be able to tell you if they plan on offering any of the parts from the Parnelli Jones car as aftermarket items. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks Jeff. It appears to me based on the photo's I've seen that it might be the Visus louver. Unfortunately the Saleen website does not have much for contact information. I'm pretty sure that it's the same louver that's on MRT's interceptor. If that is the case, the only thing I don't like about it, is the way the top slat is above the roof line. I suspect they designed it that way to have room for the hinges.

 

I contacted Saleen for anyone interested and am told that the louver will be available as an aftermarket part sometime Sept/Oct timeframe. It will be a Saleen manufactured part. No other details yet.
