I guess I didn't need red floor mats lol. My interior is mostly stock and I just wanted to 'dress it up' a little.

Well what I meant was...Why didn't you already have them? It looks like you have the red interior package from the factory, or did you add all of them individually?

Yes but the factory floor mats were black. I don't know if they offer red floor mats or not. I painted the sub rings in the doors red. The seats and door panels were factory.

I'm not sure on that. Mine is an 07 and the mats I took out were the Ford mats. I bought mine used so maybe someone didn't like the red ones

Oh, ok. You were blowin' my mind for a second there. It should've come with red mats from the factory.

The mats I bought are of ok quality. I wish I had the factory red ones but the prices of floor mats are crazy anyway so I bought an aftermarket set from Brothers performance.

As far as the oem hood, I have no idea if they change them from one year to the next but my original hood was aluminum. It had the dreaded front lip corrosion that others have complained about.

We both have the same year car... His hood does not have a scoop but weights 20lbs more than my scooped version ... It's weird

It's all about personal taste. I built this car to show at shows that have a lot of style points. The interior of a car is a high % of the total points given. If I don't do anything interior or stereo then I don't have a chance of placing. So having nothing in the trunk other than carpet and a NOS tank doesn't win. Some people get it, some don't lol. I have heard a lot of criticism of my trunk being 'ricer' but it's all good. Everyone has a right to their opinion.

I removed the honeycomb blackout panel already. I think because my car is black and my taillights are tinted it took away from the back of the car. The quality of the product is good And fitment is perfect. I am now adding it to the classifieds if anyone is interested.

I feel ya... I'm deleting the fax gas cap and having holes filled... I think it looks cleaner than adding plastic.. But at the same time I love the look of the CDC rear deck lid blacked out look... Can't decide :-(

Yeah I really like the Saleen rear bumper as well. Moving the license plate there I think really cleans up the look.
