Hey, has anyone heard anything new about CDC's Glassback roof, especially how much it'll cost? I found an old thread that talked about $1500 but that was late last year.

So how do you think the black tinted version would look on a Redfire GT? I love the idea and it would probably look sweet but I'm thinking this is a pretty high-dollar piece. :shock:

I just got off the phone with them and they said it won't be out til around June. Cost is still unknown because they're still finishing research on some materials, but it should be in the $1500-2000 range.

Guess I should start saving my pennies.

I think thats actually a really good price considering the price of a good sunroof... only problem is you can't open this one. Not like I have many days in Cleveland to open a sunroof anyways. Price only gets to be a problem when you start adding up the prices for everything you want to do :-p

I'd imagine install would be comparable to a sunroof. Only they don't have to cut a hole in the roof and just have to modify the lining.
