for those of you who have installed the cdc classic chin spoiler, did you just attach it with the double sided tape that came on it? i was at a bodyshop today, to find out about getting it installed, and they said it would be better to use some kind of epoxy. has anyone gone like 150+ with one of these installed? i dont want this thing to come flying off, because i do drive fast once in a while!

I wouldn't use epoxy. With 4 screws, the double sided tape, and the 2 plugs on the bottom, you'll be fine. I've been well over 100 mph several times and haven't had any trouble. With epoxy, if you ever have to take the spoiler off.....you're screwed.

It takes all of 10 minutes and a phillips screw driver to install. Why would you pay the bodyshop?

I put mine on and did NOT use the double side tape in the middle,
Ive made a few 120mph runs in it and one to 130. No Problems.

Just install it the way the instructions tell you to.

I agree with everyone else... Just do it like CDC instructs you to... No epoxy required!

You will be fine.....I know it seems too easy and flimsy, but it does fine.

My cousin's an engineer at CDC..every part they've got they test out to the max. They wouldn't put something out on market without 100% making sure it works per it's full specs and installment.

I would think at least 50 degrees or warmer and you should be OK......

I had mine up to 120MPH installed as instructed. It has stayed rock solid.

Assuming its the same type of tape, the instructions that came with the Silverhorse rear panel said make sure its in the 60-80 degree temp range
