I just received my prepainted (black) black CDC Classic chin spoiler from Partshopper.com. I'm looking forward to the flat black look contrasted against the Torch Red paint, so I'm not having a clear coat put on it. My black replacement rear spoiler from Spoiler Depot should be here soon, along with the Boss hood decals. Then I'll put it all on.

I was thinking of applying some form of protectant on the chin spoiler to ease cleanup when I hand wash it every weekend. Any ideas on what can go over the flat black? I know ArmorAll will work but it's going to shine it up a bit.

Your look is almost exactly what I'm going after (I may have said that in another thread). I think the hood decal on order is slightly different though:

I'm also unsure about the stripe for the side--I'm thinking of the Boss C-stripe (I have one for the upper lip of the trunk just underneath the spoiler).

Did you do the hood decal yourself?

No it took 2 shops and 7 attempts to get it perfect. The 05 hood is one of the hardest to strip in the middle. There are many curves at the same time in different directions. Was very hard to have done. So hard they did it for free because the shop that did it took a week! It's all good cause now it's right.....good luck.

I ordered this:

I'm not going to use the curved portions, just the straight part across the brake light.
