I need to know if the 19x11 Ford GT wheels will fit on our cars with 315/40. Please respond with measurements to explain your answer including keeping in mind the inner clearance or simply that you personaly know someone who is running this set up. In other words I am looking for real answer to my question not a long thread off topic.
Thank you,
Danny

What is the offset of the wheel? I know that Weld makes the Forgestar in 20x11 for our cars, so I see no problems if the offset is correct. Unfortunately, I dunno what the Weld offset is either. But, you have a bit more info to work with.
Also, wouldn't a 315/35/19 be almost the ideal size? If there is such a beast. That has been my issue with getting wheels is finding tires that are wide enough AND will give correct overall diameter. I want 315/30/20's

According to Brad you have to modify the wheel wells to get them on

they will not fit our cars if it is lowered. in fact, i have yet to find someone who has fit wider than 295 on a lowered car without significant rubbing on the outer wheel well, and 285 tends to be the normal limit without wheel spacers

What would be the difference between wheel spacers, and choosing the proper offset?
