Try doing it with the Dupli-Color kit. I did it and got great results. Its easy to do your self and the kit is only about $15.00 from your local parts store.

I used the duplicolor kit but it peeled (probably due to insufficient cleaning/prep). My bodyshop repainted mine when they put the body kit on. I think they used high-temp ceramic paint and clearcoat. It looks better than the duplicolor did, though the duplicolor looked good. The clearcoat helps.

+1 on the Duplicolor.
I did mine recently, very easy.
Hardest part was waiting a day to drive it.

They did it for free because they'd been taking a while to paint the car. I wouldn't imagine it costs very much though. It was totally worth it to me. My fiance has our '05 at work with her, but we're going to a show tonight, so I'll be sure to snap some pics.

Here's is a copy of my recent corespondence with them:

Hey there,

I've been telling everyone how great a deal your Mustang caliper decals
are, with the 4 different option per package, and no one can find them
on your site.
Did you discontinue them?

Thanks,

Jim

Their response:

Hi Jim - well it works like this. I, along with many other sellers, have
gotten stopped by Ford/Volvo/Jaguar of selling items with their
trademarks on them.

So, I can't sell a set of the Mustang caliper decals like I used to.

I am working on a way to legally get around the trademark issue, for
instance making a "custom text" section of my caliper decal page so
people can order whatever text they want, including "mustang". As far as
the actual pony logo goes, man oh man - that's gonna be a hard one but I
think I can maneuver around that too.

I'm going to be in talks with their attorneys within the next week about
it all, so don't lose hope. I may even be able to get licensed to sell
them again the way that I was and just pay royalties. I may have a
strong case since caliper decals aren't products that Ford/Volvo/Jaguar
sell anyway.

I'll post something on my caliper decal page for everyone to see.

thanks!

The Way Forward Plan, recoupe money which has been made outside Ford for years. This is why we closed our shop, and reopened.

I'd go with the G2 kit. Its what I used, and haven't had ANY problems. Very easy to use, and the finished product feels like it was powdercoated.

I just used the Duplicolor kit on mine, too. Looks great! Dries very hard and nice & glossy! Interesting thing is that the Duplicolor kit - at least the one I got - is advertised as ceramic brake caliper paint. So it ought to be pretty tough and long-lasting.
