which hood spins should i use for the cali dream hood? What has everyone else used? pics appreciated

I have a different hood, but I've been happy with my Steeda hood pins.

 

Since the CaliDream hood is a little bulbous, you're going to need long pins. Go with the Spectre Industries ones (AutoZone, Kragen, Pep Boys, etc.) but definitely look into some better scuff plates since the ones that come in that kit are paper thin and scratch real easily.

I'd also recommend doing it "the hard way" which is by taking off your front fascia and taking out the headlights and mounting the pins right above the headlight buckets. That will ensure your pins are out towards the outside of the hood and give you the best restraint.
