I designed it on microsoft publisher, a graphics program I have. I took the idea from the air filter decals off of the 68-69 mustangs. I wanted something old school looking. Was going to go with the orange color that most of them were but decided with the blue bands on the C&L CAI the blue would look better.
I really wanted to have this made out of metal like an engine tag but I went to two places and both told me it would cost big $$ so I did a little research and found a company online that makes 8 1/2 x 11 aluminum sheets that you can actually put through an ink jet printer. So I ordered a small pack of them and printed my own design on the aluminum, then sealed it with a spray clear acrylic.
