If the bumper is a factory ford part expect to pay between 250 and 300 for a quality job( they already have prepped the plastic annd come in primer. If its an aftermarket bumper cover in raw plastic....expect to add another 100 to 150.00 on top of that. Prepping the plastic is the key here and you want someone who knows what their doing.

My painter, who isn't too cheap, charged me $325 I believe to paint my rear bumper that came stock from Ford. I wouldn't pay more than $350... look somewhere else.

I just got mine already painted the correct color from Cascotech for about $550 (along with the other bumper, grill, rocker panels, and two GT mufflers)

Where you live plays a big part in the labor costs. Live in rural VA and it cost me $60 (labor/materials) to get my CDC chin spoiler painted - $500 for the hood. As previously stated, the prep work is the key.

Painting isnt cheap. I just paid 188 for my louvers to be painted, which I already had, to be painted. They were the only shop I somewhat know and trust so I paid for it. They are reletivly small paint job as well compared to a bumper plus you will pay for the bumper itself.

location does have laot to do with it....if you can go sumwhere where the living standards are lwoer. in my case, i livei n Md. its expesnvie to get custo mwork done, but ifyou go to PA, custom work is dirt cheap. 550$ does sound a tadsteep. if itsj ustfor paint, ifi t includes installation fo new and removal ofthe old, thats not bad, b/c they charge you by the book ( 55-70/hr.)

I had to have my front bumper repainted. I went with a dealership here in San Francisco. All said and done it was ~ $600 to repaint the factory front bumper..

I would charge about $400.00 to paint a bumper in my bodyshop, provided there is no damage or deep chips on the bumper. That also includes removing the bumper for painting.
Also the $400.00 is CDN funds.
If you are talking about an aftermarket bumper I would charge more as most aftermarket bumpers need more time for fitting and prep.
