Brake Calipers/Chrome Grill Trim

Just wanted to post some pics of the new mods after today's wash. I painted the Brake Calipers with the Red G2 kit and used some chrome door trim for the grill surround like the PJ Saleen. I wasn't sure about the Red Calipers at first but when I got the mustang decals today, it set them off.

Looks good. Can't go wrong with red calipers regardless of what color the car is.

I wanted to see how the red looked first. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go with red or black. I split the hardener and paint up so I can still do the rears when I get a chance.

great look.. red calipers on black are killer!! Where did you get those decals for the calipers?? I wonder how they hold up against the heat?? Hmm.. might have to do that when I replace my rotors.

The decals are from xenonmods.com. They come in a pack of 6 that include "Mustang," "Svt", "Cobra", and running ponies. I think it was $8 dollars for them. Not a big deal to replace them if they do wear out at some point.

I suspect red on my Redfire GT with the fanblades would be awesome, too >>

Yeah... I think you need to paint your calipers to pull attention from that disgusting dirty car of yours. Jeez!! Sweeeeet!

I just got my decals in the other day. Now when I get some time, hopefully this weekend, I'm gonna paint the calipers.

Here are some pics of mine when I did them 2 years ago. The stickers are still in perfect shape.

Rears

Fronts

I will update the shots as the car is in for some major appearance mods as we speak. SHR Quarter scoops, Hood, Ducktail, and Spoiler just to start.
