Anyone with body kits have probelms with rocks and dirt hitting the side skirts behind the front tire and right behind the rear tire? I know the stock rocker panels have some sort of mud gaurd to protect from debris but it doesnt look like any after market has this protection. Since most body kits have wider spaces behind the wheel after a month or so of driving dirt tends to sand blast the entire portion behind the wheels. (happened on my current cars body kit) I am interested in the street scene body kit so anyone with this kit let me know how yours turned out.

Funny you mention it. I washed my car yesterday and the skirt just behind each front tire has tons of stone chips. Doesn't help that I had to drive through a construction zone the other day. I am going to get some 3M paint protection. Fix the chips, apply the paint protection and never worry again.

Thanks for the reply adrenalin, I figured you would have an answer. Now what is the 3m paint protection? Is it a clearcoat or film that you spray on or something else?

Basically it is a thick (8 mil) vinyl that goes on clear. Resists stone chips, bugs and more. Works great. You can buy pre-cut kits for the stock hood and bumper as well. Some people refer to it as the clear bra. I ordered enough that I should be able to do the bumper and a few key areas. The thing to know is you can see the edge when it is installed (from a few feet away) so you always want to end it at a seam whenever possible.
