How long after a car is put into production do companies sell body kits? Any out already?

 

I would say about 2-3 months for regular body kits. Street Scene already has their's out, http://www.performancecenter.com .

 

thats pretty quickis it just because it was the main car at SEMA or is that 2-3 months the norm? do most of these companies get a test mule or something to fit there kits with?

 

2-3 months is pretty normal. I am not sure what the companies do, whether they get specs from Ford before-hand and/or are one of the firsts to get one and pay top dollar for it. Some of these companies can't afford nor want to spend the money on a new car just to fit parts on, so it will take them a little longer once they find a guinea pig.

Steeda has a front bumper and rear wing, I think he was talking about a complete body kit.

The Street Scene kit is very clean and doesn't take away from the look of the car. I'd like to see how much the 3D Carbon kit is before I buy one.
